Following a previous refusal, Horne & Associates submitted an amended Certificate of Lawfulness to demonstrate that a property in North London had been in continuous use as two separate self-contained flats for a time period in excess of four years and was therefore lawful.

The amended submission addressed any previous ambiguity by providing comprehensive evidence offering conclusive assurance beyond the balance of probability that the properties were lawful and the certificate was approved.
